BHAKAR: More than 60 sheep died after grazing on a rain-affected toxic wheat field in Klorkot.
According to sources, more than 60 sheep died after grazing in a rain-affected toxic wheat field in Bhakkar tehsil, while the Assistant Commissioner reached with a team of doctors to save the remaining 200 affected sheep.
Veterinarian Dr. Farooq said that it has become difficult to save the remaining sheep affected by the poisoning because the poison has already shown its effect. On the other hand, the people of the area started buying and slaughtering the affected sheep and taking them home.

The shepherd resident of Waziristan had been living in the vicinity of Kalorkot with his hundreds of sheep for 4 years. He said that despite repeated calls for several hours, no doctor came to help, however, after contacting media activist Zahid Sharif, the Assistant Commissioner brought doctors.
