Attacks and threats against journalists in Pakistan have increased by more than 60 percent.
Freedom Network, a media watchdog in the country, has released a report, according to which there were 140 incidents of threats and attacks against journalists in the last 11 months.

According to the report, Islamabad ranks first with 56 cases of torture of journalists, 35 cases of torture of journalists in Punjab, and 23 in Sindh.
The report further states that the violations of freedom of the press in Pakistan are continuously increasing every year.
