ISLAMABAD: Negotiation sessions during the negotiation process held by the Ministry of Finance and the International Monetary Fund on Friday evening had to be postponed. According to the Ministry of Finance sources, the Ministry of Finance and IMF officials did not return their negotiations before Thursday night, and tests will be continued on Wednesday evening.
Talks between State Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) officials have reportedly taken place recently, during which the debt standstill points were addressed. Sources say that Pakistan has fulfilled all the prerequisite conditions for the MEFP package for the staff-level agreement.
