Considered one of Konami’s worst-kept secrets, the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake is expected to be announced as a teaser during the PlayStation Showcase event, rather than a full gameplay trailer. The PlayStation Showcase is scheduled to begin at 1 PM PDT on May 24.
Insider Gaming sources have disclosed that the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. However, it remains unclear whether the PlayStation version will have any exclusive marketing rights or potential downloadable content (DLC).
Rumors about a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake have been circulating for years, but the likelihood of its existence was further solidified by a report from VGC in October 2021. According to VGC, the remake is being developed by Virtuos.
