According to the news agency, the Election Commission of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also asked for 3.5 lakh additional candidates for the elections.
According to media resources, a meeting was held regarding elections in the governorates of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the leadership of the Chief Election Commissioner, in which the officials of Ehsaas institutions also participated. 3 lakh 53 thousand additional personnel were requested.

While briefing the authorities, it was told that in addition to the police, 2 lakh 97 thousand personnel of other law enforcement agencies would be required in Punjab. In comparison, 56 thousand additional personnel would be required in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
While briefing, the officials said that about 67 thousand polling stations would be established in both provinces, about 52 thousand polling stations would be established in Punjab, and 15 thousand polling stations would be established in KP. In addition to CCTV cameras, security personnel from other institutions will be required.
