In a statement by Imran Khan, the Chairman of PTI, he stated that the number of judges on the bench doesn’t matter, whether it is a five-member bench or a larger one.
The only concern is whether the elections in Punjab will be held in the given timeframe of 90 days. This statement was made about the PTI’s petition against the delay in Punjab polling.
“Whether it’s a 5 [member] SC bench or Full Bench, it makes no difference to us [because] all we want to know is if elections will be held within the 90 days’ constitutional provision,”
Mr. Khan said in a series of tweets on Thursday.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan tweeted that he consulted with top constitutional lawyers before dissolving the provincial assemblies.

They were all clear that the 90-day constitutional Provision for holding elections was inviolable. Imran Khan further stated that the current government was selectively implementing constitutional provisions and was willing to disregard the Constitution to protect its leaders.

The delay in the Punjab poll has led to criticism from Imran Khan, who accused the government and the Election Commission of mockery of the Constitution.

He stated that the 90-day Constitutional Provision for holding elections was inviolable and accused the government of cherry-picking which provisions to implement.
Imran Khan referred to the government as “imported” and claimed they were ready to destroy the Constitution to protect their leaders.
The Supreme Court bench hearing the case was dissolved after one of the judges recused himself, and a fresh bench is expected to hear the case on Friday.
