Either accept the daughter or deny it, Islamabad High Court asks Imran Khan

• Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the disqualification case against Imran Khan for not revealing his alleged daughter.

• It is unfortunate that the matter of someone’s private life has become public
• The court adjourned the hearing till next Monday

Islamabad High Court has remarked that there is a case of two minutes. Either admit or deny.

A larger bench of the Islamabad High Court comprising Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani and Justice Arbab Tahir headed by Chief Justice Amir Farooq heard the disqualification case against Imran Khan for not revealing his alleged daughter.

The Chief Justice said that everyone’s privacy is important but we are listening because there is a legal issue in it, say whatever you have to say in yes or no.

Chief Justice remarked that it is unfortunate that the matter of someone’s private life has become public, we are also not enjoying sitting here and listening to such a case. Take a clear stand and reject the application now.

The Chief Justice said that he had to answer two pages, could he not give it today?

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said that many people are the guardians of many children in Pakistan but they are not fathers, those people are bearing their expenses, which means that someone else will come to do the DNA test. it is only the girl who can say that this is my father, how can a third person say it?

 If anyone can go to court in this case, it is Terian herself, if Terian herself is the victim, she can go and say that my father should be declared. How did a third party become the victim in this case?

The court adjourned the hearing till next Monday while directing the petitioner’s counsel to prepare and present arguments at the next hearing.
