In an interview with the American media, Imran Khan, leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister, expressed uncertainty regarding his eligibility to participate in future elections. He accused the current government of being afraid of holding elections, as they fear PTI winning.
Imran Khan claimed that the government is making every possible effort to remove him from politics. He went on to say that he has already been subjected to assassination attempts, and it remains to be seen whether or not they will succeed in disqualifying him.
However, Imran Khan is confident in the popularity of his party, PTI, which he believes is the most popular party in the history of Pakistan.

Similarly, he stressed the need for media freedom and acknowledged that any issues faced by the media were not caused by his party but rather by external forces. Imran Khan also highlighted his fight for the rule of law and bringing the powerful elite class within the scope of the law.
As a global player, he has traveled worldwide and believes that the difference between rich and developing countries lies in implementing the rule of law.
