PTI Chairman Imran Khan made a passionate appeal, calling for dialogue and collaboration between state institutions to find a way forward and put the country on the path of progress. He expressed his concern about the current situation, stating that it is not a viable solution for the country. Imran Khan emphasized that hyperinflation is looming, but the ruling party appears unconcerned as they have allegedly hidden their looted wealth abroad.
In an interview with France 24, Imran Khan revealed that he has been isolated at his home and cut off from the senior leadership of his party. He stated that thousands of PTI supporters have been arrested, and anyone supporting the party is either detained or forced into hiding. Imran Khan also expressed his ongoing fears for his safety, citing two assassination attempts.
Imran Khan firmly stated that his appeal for dialogue should not be misconstrued as weakness. He argued that the physical and economic injustices being committed against the people of Pakistan are not a solution. He stressed that the resolution to the country’s problems lies in state institutions functioning within their constitutional roles. Imran Khan regretted that whenever he calls for dialogue, the ruling party perceives it as a sign of weakness and responds by intensifying their crackdown on PTI leaders and workers.
Imran Khan cautioned those in power to exercise restraint, warning that their attempts to crush the PTI could lead to the destruction of the country. He criticized the rulers, stating that no political party has ever experienced such barbaric actions from the government. He accused the establishment, civil administration, and the Election Commission of Pakistan of aligning with the opposition Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), claiming that the rulers are afraid to hold elections until he is removed from the political scene.

In light of recent defections from the PTI, Imran Khan referred to them as “forced divorces” and condemned the arson attack on the Lahore corps commander’s house. He emphasized that weakening the army institution equates to weakening the country itself.
Amidst the ongoing developments, Imran Khan clarified that he is not holding the media talk to announce his departure from the PTI. He maintained a defiant tone, asserting that the party’s popularity is rising due to the crackdown, and he remains confident that PTI will win any future elections. He urged the nation, party leaders, workers, and supporters to maintain patience during these critical times.
Imran Khan warned about the impending hyperinflation crisis, comparing economic indicators and cautioning that the nation will soon face rapid and excessive price rises if immediate action is not taken. He highlighted the increasing dollar rate and predicted that the salaried class will be compelled to protest when they can no longer bear the upcoming hyperinflation.
Farrukh Habib, the PTI central information secretary, addressed the media, accusing the coalition government of creating hatred among the masses and committing excesses against PTI leaders, workers, and supporters. He demanded fair trials for all suspects and called for humane treatment of imprisoned individuals.
