Hindu Extremists Threatened Singer Shaan for Congratulating Eid Mubarak to Muslims

Mumbai: Indian singer Sean Mukherjee has been criticized by Hindu extremists for greeting him on Eid.

Singer Shaan, while releasing a video on social media, said that he had wished Muslims on Eid by sharing a photo of him wearing a hat made during the shooting of an old Qawwali in connection with the festival of Eid.

Shaan said that he was trolled by Hindu extremists on social media over the photo and faced severe criticism and even received threatening comments. In his video message, Shaan has urged the negative minded Indians to change their old thinking and respect all religions.

On the other hand, Pakistani actress Anusha Ashraf has also expressed sympathy with Shaan and said that she also faces the same attitude when wishing a Christian Christmas.
