Heavy rain with thunder in Azad Kashmir, Punjab and Islamabad

There has been heavy rain with thunder in different areas of Azad Kashmir, Upper Punjab, and Islamabad.

The Meteorological Department has predicted thundershowers, hail, and wind in most parts of the country from today till May 5.

According to Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain in Karachi tonight, and moderate and heavy rain from tomorrow afternoon to evening, while the low-lying areas of Sanghar, Matiari, and Badin are likely to be inundated.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit, Kashmir, and Pak-Afghan border areas during the next 24 hours.

Federal Environment Minister Sherry Rehman has instructed the concerned institutions to be alert.
