Sindh Health Department has confirmed the first case report of monkeypox in Karachi after Lahore.
The Sindh Health Department has informed that monkeypox has been confirmed in a passenger who arrived in Karachi from Muscat. The passenger was tested yesterday after showing symptoms.
According to the health department, the passenger had already been quarantined after showing symptoms. The passenger is also suffering from fever for a week.

It should be noted that earlier there were fears of 2 suspected cases of monkeypox being reported in Lahore General Hospital as well.
According to the hospital administration, a man and a woman had symptoms of monkeypox. Both persons had symptoms of red spots on the body along with fever. One patient also had blisters on his body.
