Islamabad: The federal cabinet has approved financing facilities for electric bikes and rickshaws.
A meeting of the federal cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. In the meeting of the federal cabinet, deep sorrow and grief were expressed over the loss of precious lives as a result of the incident that took place in the Counter-Terrorism Department police station in the Swat area of Kabul.
The Prime Minister further directed that the martyrs’ package should be given to those martyred in the Kabul incident in the same manner as the package given to those who were martyred in the Peshawar police line blast. The Federal Cabinet approved legislation for Invest Pakistan on the recommendation of the Investment Board.

Additionally, the same decisions also include approval of financing facility for popularizing the use of eco-friendly electric bikes and electric rickshaws under which a loan of Rs 5 lakh will be available through the Prime Minister Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme at zero percent markup.
