In India, a man who sold blood to treat his disabled daughter committed suicide after being fed up with poverty.
According to Indian media reports, Pramod, a resident of the state of Madhya Pradesh, was fed up with the severe financial crisis and embraced death.
According to Pramod’s family, 5 years ago his daughter became disabled due to an accident and Pramod was worried about not being able to meet the expenses of his daughter’s treatment.
Pramod’s daughter, Anushka Gupta, on her father’s suicide, says my father sold his house, even his shop for my treatment and helped the family financially.
Anushka said that her father became ill after selling his blood and was unable to earn money. According to Indian media reports, 17-year-old Anushka is a brilliant student.

She also won the award for her good performance in the board exams, Anushka says that neither the authorities nor the family cooperated with us.
According to Anushka, the authorities had given assurances of cooperation, but they were not implemented during the last one year.
