It has been revealed that electricity worth 230 billion rupees has been stolen in a year in the country.
In the written reply of the Ministry of Energy in the meeting of the National Assembly, it has been stated that the power line losses in the country have reached 113 billion rupees and the burden of revolving debt has reached 2536 billion rupees by December 2022.

According to the Ministry of Energy, Pakistan’s revolving credit was 343 billion rupees in the recent year.
Energy Minister Khurram Dastgir has said that feeders with heavy losses will be privatized.
