Cairo, Astronomers have announced the expected dates of Eid al-Adha and Hajj moon. This announcement was made on Egypt’s astronomical calendar. According to the announcement, this year Arafat Day will be on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, and Eid al-Adha will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
According to Geo News, Egyptian experts say that the birth of the moon of Eid al-Adha will be on the 29th of Shawwal, 1444, on Wednesday, June 28, at 6:38 p.m. according to Egypt and Cairo time.

As far as the Arab and Islamic capitals are concerned and as far as cities are concerned, the new moon will be between 7 and 44 minutes after sunset on that day. The Hajj is expected to start on June 26, while the dates are subject to change until the official announcement by the Saudi Moon Sighting Committee.
