Due to smuggled Iranian diesel, the sale of standard diesel in the country fell by 43 percent

The scope of smuggling of Iranian diesel into Pakistan has widened and smuggled Iranian diesel is being used in the country on a large scale.

According to industry sources, only 12 pumps are selling standard and Iranian diesel is being sold at all other 356 pumps in Balochistan.

The oil industry estimates that the monthly smuggling of Iranian diesel into Pakistan has increased to over 30 million liters per month.

Industry sources say that the sale of standard diesel has fallen by 43 percent due to Iranian diesel.

According to sources, petrol smuggling from Iran has also started increasing and its volume has increased from 3 crore liters per month.
