Census figures released, further increase in Karachi’s population

The Director of Statistics Sindh has released the data of the 7th digital population census.

According to the Director of Statistics Sindh Manwar Ali Ghangro, the population of Sindh has increased by 64 lakh 63 thousand, and the population of the province has reached 5 crore 43 lakh 18 thousand.

The Director of Statistics said that the population of Karachi has increased by 1.4 million people so far and the population of the city has increased from 1.74 million.
