Case Against Practice and Procedure Bill set for Hearing

Islamabad: The Supreme Court has fixed the case against the Practice and Procedure Bill for hearing.

An 8-member bench headed by Chief Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial in the Supreme Court will hear the case on May 2.

The Supreme Court has issued notices to the Attorney General, Supreme Court Bar, and Pakistan Bar Council.

Apart from this, notices have also been issued to 9 political parties including Muslim League (N), People’s Party, and Tehreek-e-Insaaf.

It should be noted that the Supreme Court had stopped the implementation of the Judicial Reforms Bill on the previous hearing.
