Lahore: Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Bismah Maroof gave her resignation from captaincy, but she will be available as a player for the team.
The head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Committee has also approved the resignation of Bismah Maroof.

The head of the Pakistan Cricket Board Najam Sethi wrote about Bismah Maroof and that she wants to make way for a younger colleague. But happily, she will continue to play for Pakistan and bring laurels to her country.
According to the statistics, Under her captaincy, 27 T20 out of 62 matches were successful while 32 matches were lost. Similarly, 16 ODI,s out of 34 matches were under the captaincy of Bismah Pakistan won the matches.
