Babil Khan, the son of the late Irrfan Khan, has been capturing attention recently following his debut in Netflix’s film “Qala.” The emerging young star has now addressed the possibility of recreating any of his father’s iconic roles.
Reflecting on his cherished moments with his father, Babil expressed, “I miss him every day of my life. When I was growing up, I did not have many friends, and he was my sole companion. Laughing with him remains my most treasured memory of Baba.”
During his appearance on the green carpet of IIFA 2023, Babil was asked if he had any intentions of recreating his father’s roles. Without hesitation, he responded, “No, why would you try to recreate Baba’s performance? I believe he portrayed those characters exceptionally well,” as reported by Pinkvilla.
Babil’s debut film, “Qala,” was released on December 1, 2022, featuring him alongside Tripti Dimri. The film garnered significant acclaim from both audiences and critics alike.
Currently, Babil Khan is gearing up for his role in the web series “The Railway Men,” where he will star alongside renowned actors Kay Kay Menon, R Madhavan, and Divyendu Sharma. As he continues to carve his own path in the industry, Babil embraces the legacy of his father while charting his unique artistic journey.
