KARACHI: In the ATM booth located in the limits of Joharabad police station, a citizen and a robber drew pistols on each other. The footage of the incident went viral on social media.
In the CCTV footage of the incident, it can be seen that the citizen was withdrawing money from the machine in the ATM booth of the bank located on the Pakistan Highway, when he was startled by a noise from outside and immediately took out his pistol and loaded it.
The citizen opened the door of the ATM booth a little and tried to peek out, when he saw the accused, the citizen took out his pistol and took it. Meanwhile, Shatir accused grabbed the citizen’s pistol with one hand and pointed his pistol at the citizen with the other hand.
Inside the ATM booth, both of them clashed with each other while both of them threatened to shoot at each other, but both of them did not shoot at each other. Later, as soon as the accused got loose, he opened the door of the ATM booth and escaped and the citizen breathed a sigh of relief.
According to the police, the incident took place in the Joharabad police station. The same accused is also involved in other incidents in Karachi. On the basis of the CCTV footage, the search for the accused is on.
