A local mosque in Islamabad has announced to provide a free marriage hall to help poor and deserving families.
This compassionate step has been taken by Rehmatul Alameen Mosque in Sector F8 of Islamabad for deserving families. The Masjid Shadi Hall will also provide crockery, tables, chairs, and trained waiters to serve the food along with the booking of the Shadi Hall without taking any money from the bride and groom.
The initiative aims to ensure that the girls are sent to their new homes with dignity and respect. Also to reduce the financial burden on the poor families and enable them to celebrate this special occasion with joy and honor.
According to the administration of the mosque, the time for the ceremony in the wedding hall is kept for 3 hours. Along with this, the mosque management also allows the parents to either get their daughter married themselves or choose a bridegroom of their choice for the ceremony.

Eligible persons can easily book the marriage hall by contacting the mosque management committee. In this regard, Taj Qamar, a member of the mosque committee, has said that even during the prayer times, activities related to marriage will continue without interruption.
Taj Qamar advised people to combine the departure of their daughters with adhan and prayers to eliminate some un-Islamic rituals and create a blessed environment that would facilitate the new life.
