According to news sources, a tragic incident occurred in Rawalpindi where Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) session judge, Sardar Amjad Ishaq, was shot dead while resisting a house robbery.
The police reported that two robbers entered the residence of the AJK judge, located within the jurisdiction of Rawat police station, and held the house members hostage at gunpoint. When the judge attempted to resist the robbery, the culprits opened fire, resulting in the judge sustaining critical injuries. He was immediately rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his wounds.
Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation and initiated a search operation to apprehend the robbers responsible for this heinous crime.
In a separate incident in Karachi’s Baloch Colony area, an additional sessions judge and his family fell victim to a robbery. Two armed individuals robbed Additional Sessions Judge Naved Hussain and his family at gunpoint, taking their mobile phones and other valuables. The robbers quickly fled the scene.
A first information report (FIR) has been registered, and the police have commenced efforts to locate and apprehend the robbers involved in the incident.
