Senior Indian actor Ashish Vidyarthi tied the knot with fashion entrepreneur Rupali Barua in a private ceremony in Kolkata. The Indian film veteran, known for his role as Devraj Khatri in the 2000 thriller ‘Bichhoo’, got married for the second time in an intimate affair.
According to Indian media reports, the 60-year-old actor had a registry marriage with Barua at a Kolkata club. Several pictures from the private event surfaced on social media, capturing the special moments.
Speaking about his second marriage, Vidyarthi expressed his joy, stating, “At this stage of my life, getting married to Rupali is an extraordinary feeling. We had a court marriage in the morning, followed by a get-together in the evening.”
Barua, 50, hails from Guwahati, a city in Assam, India, and is an entrepreneur with an upscale fashion store in Kolkata. She and Vidyarthi had met some time ago and decided to take their relationship forward. Barua described her husband as a beautiful human being and a great soul to be with.
Ashish Vidyarthi was previously married to Rajoshi Barua, the daughter of veteran actor Shakuntala Barua. The couple has a son named Arth.
