Accused Absconded in Anti-Corruption Case against Parvez Elahi

Gujranwala: The suspect arrested in the anti-corruption case against former Punjab Chief Minister and PTI President Pervaiz Elahi escaped.

Anti-corruption sources say that the accused Sohail Asghar was in the custody of anti-corruption police on physical remand from where he escaped.

Sources say that the accused was being taken to the hospital due to his condition deteriorating. Unknown suspects riding on a rickshaw near the General Bus Stand forcibly stopped the official vehicle, after which the accused escaped by forcefully freeing the accused Sohail Asghar.
