Weather Alert: Expect Rain And Thunderstorms In Various Parts Of Pakistan

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds and thunder in various parts of Pakistan, including Islamabad, Punjab, Northeast Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, over the next two days. 

The rains have already caused flooding in some areas of Punjab, including Lahore, Kasur, and Multan. Meanwhile, most of the districts in Sindh are expected to remain dry. The department has advised citizens to take necessary precautions and remains alert during rainy weather.

Heavy rains lash various Punjab areas, including Lahore, Kasur, Multan, and Northeastern Balochistan. The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted more rains with strong winds and thunder in different parts of the country today and tomorrow. 

However, landslides occurred in the Mount Sulaiman range following the rains in Northeast Balochistan, causing damage to the wheat crop. The PDMA Balochistan has reported that the N50 national highway in Dhanasar has been cleared and opened for small and big vehicles.
