Punjab Sports Adviser Wahab Riaz made a big announcement for the national athletes.
In a video statement released on the social networking site Twitter, Wahab Riaz said that cash prizes will be given to the medalist athletes of Punjab in the National Games.
Wahab Riaz says that for the first time in the history of sports we will award the athletes, a cash prize will be given to all the medalist athletes.

singles and doubles will get 5 lakh rupees, the silver medalist will get 2.5 lakh rupees and the bronze medalist will get 1 lakh rupees.
Sports Advisor Punjab says that in the team event, the gold medalist will get one million rupees, the silver medalist will get five lakh rupees and the bronze medalist will get two and a half lakh rupees.
