Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, has suggested that the platform may soon increase the maximum character limit for tweets to 10,000.
Musk commented in response to a tweet but did not provide specific details about when this change would take effect or what new formatting tools would be available.
Genius, @twitter and @elonmusk decision to allow long form content on Twitter is brilliant product design. There will be less click bait type of articles and people staying on Twitter for longer https://t.co/ZXBm9UPWXS

Twitter’s character limit increased from 140 to 280 characters in 2017, and the company recently introduced a 4,000-character tweet feature exclusively for its paid subscription service, Twitter Blue.

It’s currently unclear whether the 10,000-character limit would be available to all Twitter users or just those subscribed to Twitter Blue, which costs $11 per month for iOS and Android users and $8 per month for the web version. However, Twitter Blue is not yet available in Pakistan.
