In a recent development, Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, has approached the court in response to a notice issued by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The NAB had summoned Bushra Bibi to appear before it in a case related to her assets and income.
This move by the former First Lady has sparked speculations and raised questions about the nature of the case and its possible implications.
Bushra Bibi, the former First Lady, has filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court challenging the NAB summons for investigation in the Tosha Khana case.
In the petition, NAB has also been made a party. Bushra Bibi argued that the court should order NAB to halt disciplinary action against her until the decision is made. The inquiry should not be turned into an investigation until the decision on the petition is taken.
She further requested the court to declare the notices of February 16 and 17 illegal.
