Heavy rains and hailstorms in Balochistan stopped after several days; the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) reported that floodwaters had begun to recede in the storm drains.
PDMA has reported that a weak westerly system is currently present over Mount Sulaiman and is expected to move towards South Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The heavy rains have caused significant damage to the inter-link roads in the province, but rehabilitation work has already begun in the rain-affected districts.
