ISLAMABAD: The Bureau of Statistics has extended the 20th of April for certain districts in the ongoing seventh house and census across the country. The spokesperson of the Department of Statistics, Muhammad Sarwar Gondal, has confirmed that the census date has been extended to April 20 for certain districts.
In a statement, Mohammad Sarwar Gondal said that the population of the country counted so far is 23,400,000 and the census work has been completed in 122 districts. The spokesperson of the Statistical Institute said that so far the population has recorded an increase of six to eight percent compared to the population of 2017, while according to the data, the population has increased by 1 crore 71 lakh 89 thousand 968 compared to 2017.

Muhammad Sarwar Gondal said that the data verification process of census in the completed districts will continue till April 20, 2023.
