The TLP has called the countrywide shutter-down strike

A nationwide shutter down strike is being observed following a call from the TLP chief, Saad Rizvi. Rizvi claimed the nation would support the TLP’s strike call from all corners, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). TLP is raising its voice for the rights of the Pakistanis.

The Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) has called for a nationwide strike in response to the skyrocketing prices of essential commodities and petroleum products. The party has urged citizens to join the protest and fight against inflation.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Wholesale Grocers Association Chairman, Abdul Rauf Ibrahim, has stated that the main markets of Karachi, such as Jorya Bazaar and adjacent markets, will remain open tomorrow. He supported the protest against inflation but clarified that the markets would stay open.
