The Supreme Court termed the reports of no audit for 10 years as baseless and misleading.
An explanatory statement has been issued by the Spokesman Supreme Court on the issue of summoning the Registrar’s Public Accounts Committee regarding the audit of the Supreme Court.
The spokesperson of the Supreme Court says that the audit of the Supreme Court has been completed by June 2021 and the audit process for 2021 to 2022 is ongoing.

The spokesperson of the Supreme Court says that the information given to the Public Accounts Committee is not correct.
It may be remembered that Chairman Public Accounts Committee Noor Alam Khan had summoned the Registrar Supreme Court while raising questions on the audit of the Supreme Court.
