The Prime Minister Approved the Wheat Support Price in Punjab

• Prime Minister has given final approval to the price the caretaker provincial cabinet recommended.
• The conflicting opinions of setting the price at Rs 3800 or Rs 4 thousand have died down.
•  The low-income families of Punjab will be given a cash subsidy. 

Lahore: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved a wheat support price of Rs 3900 in Punjab.

Confusion and tussle over fixing the minimum purchase price for the new wheat production in Punjab have ended, and the Prime Minister has given final approval to the price recommended by the caretaker provincial cabinet at Rs 3900 per maund, along with the aid. The conflicting opinions of setting the price at Rs 3800 or Rs 4 thousand have died down.

Apart from this, the low-income families of Punjab will be given a cash subsidy equal to the price of flour required for one month under the Benazir Income Support Program.
