The household census that starts before the scheduled time of 10 years will continue for one month.
Under digital census every structure will be geo-tagging, all household and census records and entries will be saved through automated systems on a daily basis, and door-to-door enumerators will answer questions through the software on their tablets. 43,838 Senses Blocks have been created in 30 districts of Sindh.
Each enumeration block consists of 250 to 300 households, enumerators will record answers to about 25 questions through the tablet, from income to income along with information on the types of disabilities of special persons and transgenders in the first-ever household census.

According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, 28 thousand 706 enumerators have been trained in digital census in Sindh. During Pakistan’s first digital census enumerators will not require any documents from citizens, illegal immigrants, or foreigners who do not have identity documents will be counted separately.
Non-availability of internet or connectivity issues will not hinder the census, enumerators will store the information of citizens on their tablets and the data will be entered into the central software as soon as the internet facility is available.
Police will be on security duty during the census, Rangers are also supported. To make the first digital household census transparent and to verify the enumerators, the Federal Bureau of Statistics has set up a system. According to the Statistics Institute, citizens do not need to worry about the questionnaire prepared for the census, the information will not be used against the citizens in any way, nor will any questions be asked that will affect their personal and business life.
Officials have requested the citizens not to fall victim to any negative propaganda and confusion and cooperate with the census staff as a matter of national spirit and duty to enumerate every head and house based on accurate data. With better planning, the foundation of a stable Pakistan can be laid.
