The fire flared up in Karachi’s Gharibabad furniture market, resulting in dozens of shops being burnt down.
According to the sources, 6 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot after the accident, and after some time, the fire in the furniture market was brought under control.

Shopkeepers claim that 45 shops and two vehicles were burnt while two people were injured while removing the goods. The victims also blamed the fire brigade for their late arrival.
The fire brigade officials said that the cooling process is happening in the warehouse, and the damage caused by the fire is being under review.
Rescue officials say that due to the fire, the residents of the apartments around the furniture market came out. Luckily there was no loss of life.
