Islamabad (Web Desk) Senior journalist Asad Ali Toor has claimed that a decision has been taken to arrest former DGISI Lt. Gen. (retd) Faiz Hameed, he is accused of corruption, terrorism, coup attempt in the army and politics. There are allegations of interference.

He said that Faiz Hameed will be court-martialed or arrested by civilian authority, this decision is yet to be taken but his arrest can happen at any time. Asad said that there is a system in the army, and Faiz Hameed was not alone, he executed the Bajwa doctrine, Faiz Hameed stepped out of his role to become the next army chief,  Qamar Javed Bajwa should also be charged. It should go but now Muslim League (N) also does not take the name of Qamar Javed Bajwa, if no deal is done then why Maryam Nawaz does not take his name? It was taken in the past.

Talking about the corruption charges against Faiz Hameed, Ansar Abbasi has also written that the owners of a housing society in Islamabad were picked up by ISI and Rangers personnel, at that time Faiz Hameed was DGC.

They then allegedly tried to transfer their society in the name of Najaf Hameed and an innocent woman. After three or four tortures, a case of terrorism was made. All this happened in Islamabad and the then Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali.
