ISLAMABAD: During the hearing on Tehreek-e-Insaf’s petition related to the election in the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice of Pakistan suggested a cut in salaries for the elections. The economic crisis cannot be ignored, sacrifices have to be made to deal with the crisis, 5% salary cut can cost the election.
According to the private TV channel Express News, a hearing was held on Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s petition related to the election in the Supreme Court, a 5-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial, new Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan, Senator Farooq H. Naik appeared in the court.
