ISLAMABAD: After the suspension of 43 PTI MNAs’ resignations, the PTI party instructed members to reach the parliament house, upon which Tehreek-e-Insaf members started reaching the opposition leader’s chamber.

43 members of Tehreek-e-Insaaf have been instructed to unite in the chamber of opposition leader Shahzad Wasim in the Senate. The opposition chamber will decide the strategy concerning entering or banning members in the Senate House. PTI has demanded to remove opposition leader Raja Riaz and give National Assembly opposition chamber to Tehreek-e-Insaf.
After the progress regarding the 43 members of Tehreek-e-Insaf, the speaker of the National Assembly will consult with constitutional, and legal experts and important government leaders today. An important meeting will be held in the speaker’s office in which Tehreek-e-Insaaf will review whether these members are allowed to come to Parliament or not.
PTI MNAs who have been de-notified have started reaching the Parliament House. So far, Shanila Roth, Sajda Begum, Fauzia Bahram, Rukhsana Naveed, Asma Adeed, Nusrat Wahid, Nafisa Khattak, and Rai Mohammad Murtaza Iqbal have reached the chamber of Opposition Leader Senator Shahzad Wasim in the Parliament House.
It should be noted according to the speaker of the national assembly, the decision of the Lahore High Court to suspend the approval of the resignations of PTI members has not been received by the National Assembly Secretariat yet.
Talking to the media on this occasion, Senator Shahzad Waseem said that the decision of the courts will have to be respected. The High Court’s order clearly states that the manner in which the resignations of these members were accepted is illegal.
The High Court has confirmed this decision. Today our members will go to the National Assembly. Inshallah, we will have our own Leader of Opposition.
