The Supreme Court dismissed the petition to disqualify President Dr. Arif Alvi. The application was heard by a 3 member bench headed by Justice Ijazul Ahsan.
Petitioner Zahoor Mehdi said that I was a presidential candidate, I had 6 objections to Arif Alvi’s papers, and Arif Alvi was an undertrial accused at the time of the presidential election.
The petitioner said that my papers were rejected because they were not supportive and suggestive, the country is now in crisis by making someone who is not qualified as president, and political parties are at odds with each other.

Justice Ijazul Hassan said that it is not your case and political parties are fighting each other, what political parties are doing is a political procedure.
