Federal Law Minister Nazir Tarar expressed sorrow and regret over the Supreme Court’s decision on the election postponement case.
During a press conference, he shared that after the decision on the election date, a 6-member bench was formed instead of a circular or executive order.
The court issued the notice, and an entire court session was called to resolve the issue. However, the government’s pleas were rejected, adding to the political and legal crises and security and economic concerns.

The government coalition is not satisfied with the decision made by the Supreme Court.
During a press conference, the Law Minister expressed sorrow and regret over the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the election postponement case.
He questioned why senior judges are kept from judicial matters and urged the Chief Justice to convene an entire court session to address the issues.
The Minister emphasised the importance of unity in the organisation and stated that the scales would be balanced if justice prevailed.
