Situation Getting Out Of Hands, Rangers and Police outside Zaman Park to arrest Imran Khan

• Islamabad Police along with Lahore Police were present outside Imran Khan’s house.
• The police also called water cannon vehicles and water was thrown at the workers while the workers resisted and pelted stones at the police.
• The police have blocked all the roads leading to Zaman Park. 

Lahore: Rangers and police are present outside Zaman Park to arrest PTI Chairman Imran Khan under the Tosha Khana case. The situation remains tense and dozens of workers also got arrested.

According to News, along with Islamabad Police, a heavy contingent of Lahore Police is also present outside Imran Khan’s house. Also, The police have blocked all the roads leading to Zaman Park.

On behalf of Islamabad Police, DIG Operations Islamabad Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari has come with an armored vehicle and a police team.

When the workers present there resisted the arrest, the police charged them with batons. The police also called water cannon vehicles and water was thrown at the workers while the workers resisted and pelted stones at the police. Police also shelled tear gas.

On the other hand, a large number of activists have reached Zaman Park and are ready to resist the police. They are carrying sticks in their hands and shouting slogans, but the police are not allowing them to succeed.

The police advance towards Zaman Park continues, with heavy contingents of policemen moving forward with shields and other equipment constantly pushing back the activists. The police demolished the workers’ base camps.

When PTI leader and former Sindh Governor Imran Ismail reached Mall Road to go to Zaman Park, the police stopped him from going further. Imran Ismail says that Imran Khan has a security bond, Fawad Chaudhry and other legal experts are also approaching the court.

He said that Maryam Nawaz wants Imran Khan to be arrested, Maryam Nawaz is asking for a level playing field, we have not done anything illegal, we just want to go to see Khan Sahib but we are not being allowed to go.
