KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) requested the Sindh High Court to reject the bail plea of Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani.

NAB and IG Prisons Qazi Nazir submitted the answer in court.
According to IG Prisons, Agha Siraj Durrani was brought to jail on 12 April 2019, Agha Siraj Durrani was released after being granted bail on 13 December 2019, Agha Siraj Durrani was again brought to jail on 6 December 2021, Still in jail, Agha Siraj Durrani spent one year, 11 months and 25 days in jail.

In the reply submitted by NAB, it was requested from the court that the accused be influential, and can influence the reference witnesses, and the bail application of the accused Siraj Durrani should be rejected.
According to NAB, in the reference filed against Aghasraj Durrani and others, the amount is more than 500 million.
On May 3, the court called for arguments on Aghasraj Durrani’s bail application.
