Sara Ali Khan, during the promotions of her new romantic comedy film “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” opened up about her personal preferences when it comes to choosing a romantic partner.
Amidst rumors of a possible romance between Sara and cricketer Shubman Gill, following their spotted date in the city, both individuals have chosen to maintain silence on the matter.
In a recent interview with India Today, Sara was asked about her willingness to marry a cricketer. In response, she expressed that the profession of her potential partner does not hold significance for her.
“I believe that, for someone like me, it doesn’t matter what their profession is—actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor…”
“But, jokes aside, the truth is that you need to match me on a mental and intellectual level. If you can do that, I think it’s great, wonderful. But that would matter much more to me than the profession itself.”
When questioned whether she would consider dating someone from the current Indian cricket team squad, Sara replied honestly, stating, “I’ll be honest with you, and I can say this with almost certainty, I believe that the person I am meant to be with in my life, I haven’t met them yet. I genuinely don’t think so.”
Meanwhile, Sara and Vicky’s latest film, “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” directed by Laxman Utekar, has been performing well at the box office since its release on June 2.
