Portugal’s football star Cristiano Ronaldo achieved a new milestone by playing his 197th career international match against Liechtenstein in the Euro Qualifiers.

With this achievement, Ronaldo surpassed Kuwaiti forward Badr al-Matawa to become the footballer with the most international matches in History. Ronaldo marked the occasion by scoring two goals in Portugal’s 4-0 victory over Luxembourg in the Euro qualifiers.
