Rawalpindi: Quetta Gladiators defeated Karachi Kings by 4 wickets in Pakistan Super League 8.
In the 22nd match of the league played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Quetta Gladiators completed the target of 165 runs for the loss of 6 wickets with 1 ball to spare.
On behalf of Quetta Gladiators, Martin Guptill stood out by scoring 86 not out. Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 29, and Mohammad Nawaz scored 15 runs.
Tabriz Shamsi took 2 wickets, while Aamir Yameen, Mohammad Musa, and James Fuller took 1 and 1 wickets for Karachi Kings.
Earlier, batting first at the invitation of Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings scored 164 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Adam Rosington played an inning of 69 runs on behalf of the Karachi Kings. Captain Imad Wasim scored 30 runs, and Aamir Yameen returned to the pavilion not out after scoring 23 runs.
