Rajanpur/Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s candidate Mohsin Laghari won the by-elections of National Assembly Constituency NA-193.
It is to be noted that National Assembly seat NA-193 from Rajanpur was vacant due to the death of Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Sardar Jafar Laghari.
Rajanpur by-elections polling in National Assembly Constituency NA 193 continued without any break from 8 am to 5 pm. However, the polling was stopped for a while due to a disturbance at a polling station, after which, extra time was given.
Inconclusive Unofficial Results
According to the unofficial results of all 237 constituencies, Mohsin Laghari of Tehreek-e-Insaf came first with 90392 votes. In contrast, Ammar Ahmad Khan Laghari of PML-N came second with 55218 votes and Akhtar Hasan Gorchani of Pakistan Peoples Party came third with 20074 votes.
The Election Commission stated that 239 polling stations have been set up for 379,204 registered voters in the constituency.
