The Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman, Najam Sethi, announced on social media that the schedule of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League final has been altered due to potential rain.
The PCB and franchises expressed concerns that the final may be disrupted, prompting the decision to reschedule the last to ensure it goes smoothly.
Rain looms over the HBL PSL 8 Final. @TheRealPCB and Franchises are anxious that the Final should not be disrupted. Therefore, we have decided to reschedule the HBL PSL Final from 19 Mar ’23 to Saturday, 18 Mar ’23. Tickets already purchased for the Final will remain valid.

According to Najam Sethi, the Pakistan Cricket Board Management Committee Chairman, the final of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League has been rescheduled due to concerns about possible rain during the original date.

The new date for the final is March 18 instead of March 19. Sethi also announced that pre-purchased tickets for the original date would be valid for the new date.
The Multan Sultans secured their final spot after winning the qualifier. In contrast, the winner of the second eliminator between the team that won the first and Lahore Qalandars will face the Multan Sultans in the final.
