Prohibited funding case: FIA summons Asad Umar again

FIA Lahore again summoned Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Asad Umar in the prohibited funding case.

According to FIA officials, the notice of re-call of Asad Umar has also been received in the PTI Lahore office.

The notice was received by Assistant Finance Manager PTI Naveed Aslam according to which Asad Umar has been directed to appear before the JIT on April 27 at the FIA office in Lahore and record his statement.

According to FIA authorities, a recall notice was issued to Asad Umar for not appearing on April 14, but instead of appearing on April 14, Asad Umar sent a written reply.

According to FIA sources, Asad Umar’s answer was unsatisfactory and he has been summoned again.
